A true mountain village, Autrans flourishes in a gentle, green valley crowned with forests. In the summer, Autrans is a place for revitalization and relaxation for all. The 1968 Olympic Games made the village the capital of Nordic skiing, and it is still recognised in the winter for cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing and dog sledding. Its snowy downhill skiing area is ideal for easy family skiing.

The gateway to the Vercors massif, St-Nizier and Lans-en-Vercors captivate visitors with their magnificent landscapes surrounded by cliffs and forests, villages with typical dwellings, green meadows...

2 villages .... one resort : A mountain of pleasure!

Located between 800 m and 1,150 m, the Forest of Coulmes with its villages of Presles, Rencurel and Malleval en Vercors is an ideal place for relaxation in wild and natural beauty. In the summer, for hiking, walking, mountain biking, horse riding... in the winter for downhill or cross-country skiing, and the discovery of animal tracks and the different types of trees and flowers. Not forgetting the magnificent viewpoints over the Gorges de la Bourne.

At the edge of the High Plateaux Nature Reserve in the Vercors, Herbouilly enchants walkers with the beauty of its forest trails and peaceful meadows where biodiversity, history and geology are skilfully combined.

Set against the East Balcony of the Vercors, at the foot of the "Deux Soeurs" mountain, the small resort of Col de l'Arzelier offers a magnificent panorama. At the top of its chair lift, the entire Vercors chain is revealed, with the Grand-Veymont and the Mont-Aiguille as the highlights, and even the Mont Blanc that can sometimes be glimpsed.

The highest village in the Vercors, Gresse-en-Vercors, nestles at the foot of the Grand-Veymont culminating at 2,341m in altitude. Here the cliffs, known as the "French Dolomites" offer a true mountain landscape.

Rugged and enchanting, the karst plateau of Font d'Urle is an exceptional walking area with landscapes sculpted by water and wind.

Close to the peaceful village of Léoncel and its famous Cistercian Abbey, and at the foot of the Col de la Bataille, the Grand Echaillon invites visitors to criss-cross its cool forests, woods and flowery meadows.

Gateway to the nature reserve in the Hauts-Plateaux, the Col du Rousset is the departure point for hikes in magnificent countryside...

Chichilianne is inseparable from the Mont-Aiguille. This spectacular mountain, which dominates the village from its 2,086 m, attracts attention. But Chichilianne also comprises numerous hamlets where it is pleasant to stroll.

At the edge of the Trièves, nestled at the bottom of the Grand-Ferrand (2,758m), Tréminis has an end-of-the-world feel, but is very welcoming. At the heart of this cirque, the four hamlets comprising the village captivate nature lovers and offer a unique panorama over the Dévoluy chain.

At the heart of an accessible Alpine mountain landscape, Lus-la-Jarjatte offers its natural setting, authentic character and warm welcome whatever the season.
