An invitation to discover nature

Not far from the peaceful village of Léoncel (meeting point of the GR9 and GR93 routes) and its famous Cistercian Abbey, and at the foot of the Col de la Bataille, the Grand Echaillon invites visitors to criss-cross its cool forests, woods and flowery meadows.
Numerous hikes from the guest house let you discover all the beauty and variety of the Vercors countryside. This natural site, with a permanent orienteering trail, awaits future explorers for a fun discovery of orienteering for all ages. Autumn is the season when you can hear stags bellowing and discover this traditional ritual at the edge of the Ambel plateau (between 15 September and 15 October).
