Vercors Diois

The Diois region has its head in the Vercors and one foot in Provence. You can go from the rigours of the Alps and its high limestone cliffs to the gentleness of Provence and its black marl, simply by crossing the river Drôme. Here, the originality of the mountains caters for everyone, from mountain pasture walks to the charm of peaceful valleys, not forgetting high mountain running on the highest peak in the Drôme: the Rocher Rond 2453m.
